Jocelyn Chaibva Appointed African Pharmaceutical Forum Chairperson

THE African Pharmaceutical Forum (APF) appointed Mrs Jocelyn Chaibva  its Chairperson at the just ended International Pharmaceutical Federation World Congress in Brisbane, Australia.

In their congratulatory message, the Community Pharmacists Association Trust (CPA) Board Vice Chairperson, Mr. Felix Chiseya and the entire board of trustees  wished Mrs. Chaibva the best in her endeavors.

Jocelyn is a pharmacist par excellent with a passion for the profession. She has mentored and trained numerous pharmaceutical leaders of repute and she is the current patron of the Zimbabwe pharmaceutical students association (ZPSA). She has been and still is board/committee member of pharmaceutical regulatory authorities in Zimbabwe,” said Mr Chiseva.

He added that Internationally, Jocelyn is an outstanding member of FIP having attended world congresses for the last decade. She has chaired various committees at FIP level.

“Her appointment to the presidency comes at an appropriate time as she is championing vision 2030 for (african) pharmacists to practice at full scope.”

The board stands ready and commits to support her leadership and vision as she takes africa to the next chapter of pharmacist’s full scope of practice.
